Beach Fun

Posted on Feb 23, 2016 in Puerto Vallarta | 0 comments

We finally made it to the beach, thanks to my in-laws who met us there. The drive from Guadalajara can be on the long side depending on the traffic, so the fact that they were meeting us there was the extra boost we needed to hit the road (as well as having Francisca along too). We ended up making good time and arrived in a little under 5 hours. The kids loved the beach and after breakfast we would head down to have some fun in the waves.

All of the photos I’ve posted recently were from a Photo Walk that several of us from the consulate organized. Here are a few additional photos I took along our route to the various sites we visited.

Inaugurated in September of 1866, the Teatro Degollado is a cultural focal point in Guadalajara for everything from traditional Mexican dances to international operas. We managed to get in shortly before the building closed on Saturday afternoon to get some photos.
